Together with Achtung! we’ve created a film for Toon, a thermostat that helps you monitor and manage your energy consumption. Sharing a vision of the future as well as the current features of the device.
As Toon can be operated via a tablet, we chose to build the story around this. Realistic 3D, an earthly yet clean color palette and warm sound design were used to achieve a personal and lifelike touch.

Sound of Ceres | BRYN MARINA - Official Music Video
Bryn Marina was written and recorded by Ryan Hover, Karen Hover and Robert Schneider in Fort Collins, Colorado and Decatur, Georgia. Bryn Marina is a journey through time and space- a story of how the human intersects with the universe and the relationship they share.
Over a year in the making, the Bryn Marina video was filmed in time-lapse using still cameras and macro lenses to capture children's “grow in water” toys as they slowly sprouted and came to life.
Sound of Ceres explores the wonders of our living planet through the lenses of mid-century lounge music, 60s pop, 70s nature documentary soundtracks, a single 80s drum fill, 90s shoegaze, and modern sampling techniques.

100 Years - Armenian Genocide
In this special year 2015, we did this 3 minute animation for the centenary of the Armenian Genocide. The Turkish government denies to the date that the genocide took place. It has passed a hundred years, today April 24th, and we`ll keep on fighting till recognition. This is a small tribute to the 1.500.000 victims.

Satoshi Kon - Editing Space & Time
Four years after his passing, we still haven't quite caught up to Satoshi Kon, one of the great visionaries of modern film. In just four features and one TV series, he developed a unique style of editing that distorted and warped space and time. Join me in honoring the greatest Japanese animator not named Miyazaki.

INFORMAÇÕES SOBRE O CURSO 3D - BUTTERFLY
THE CONCEPT OF BUTTERFLY HOUSE
When I was just a kid, I´ve been painting some butterfly in a nice way, the method consist in draw just in one side of the paper then close the both sides to have a mirrored image. The most common image was a butterfly.
This thing keep in my mind until these days. I ever think about create some new architecture using this mirror idea to create a new image. A lot of kind of solutions passed through my mind but I never did, until now.
I was really really tired to see the same kind of 3D architectural images: Box house on middle of trees or just lofts with same furniture. So I mixed this two problems and thought in a solution., using the butterfly main idea. It was just think "outside the box".
95% of the models was made by myself and the other 5% are premade models.

This year, Weta Digital's Tissue physically-based character sim framework is being recognized with a Scientific and Engineering Award (Academy Plaque) at the Sci-Techs. We sit down with two of the award recipients, Simon Clutterbuck and James Jacobs, who, along with Dr. Richard Dorling, developed the linear-elastic finite-element system to build muscles, skin, and fat for creatures in such films as Avatar, Rise of the Planet of the Apes, Prometheus and The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey.

CGI VXF Breakdowns HD: "Mariam Making of" - by Artwarecorp
Mariam, a long feature drama telling the story of three women living in Syria at completely different times, 1918, 1967 and 2012, and still share a very similar fate as well as sharing their name, a dark fate of war and despair in the mist of which they still shine with love and sacrifice.
ArtWare Corp team was responsible for every technical and artistic aspect of post production, from choosing the camera, handling the digital intermediate, not to mention editorial, visual effects, music, color grading and finishing, the film was a true joy to make and an exciting exploration of both the creative and technical process.

FITC Amsterdam 2014 Titles
We at Leviathan were honored to create the opening titles for the festival's Amsterdam event, and took the creative challenge to heart. Set in a painter's studio, our story of every artist's quandary moves from macro to micro, showing the fantastic world that exists within a drop of paint or the bristles within a brush; all made possible with custom-built microscopic motion control camera, and a love for the art of title sequences.

Taiwan Excellence 2014 IDENT : WORLD LAB - Safety & Security
''The World Lab'' Series shows the evolutionary process of industries through a visualization of elements unique to each specific industry. The laboratory concept symbolizes the power of Taiwan's research and innovation.
Safety & Security
The visual design of this video draws upon ideas of surveillance, control and safety, which are standards that Taiwan’s security industry consistently achieves. The main character of the video, the robot of the future, well symbolizes the concept of intelligent security surveillance. The extensive appearance of lenses throughout the video as a visual element reinforces the concept of surveillance. The robot’s design is inspired by shell creatures to help create an image of safety and protection.

''World Lab''

Cartoon Network: Rebrand Reel [HD]
My first attempt at character rigging.. Five network IDs (Float, Tower, Beam, Glide, Zoom) plus some examples of how the brand could extend to different broadcast elements such as 'up next' bumpers and lower thirds.
The spots are based around the characters developing fun scenarios for themselves with nothing but their imaginations and cardboard.. anything is possible! I remember making everything I could think of out of card and tape when I was young and think creativity should be encouraged from an early age and to use Cartoon Network as a catalyst is ideal.
Please take a look at the 'making of' video and visit the project blog to see in depth developments through the process of design, construction and animation: mattfrodshamcartoonnetwork.blogspot.com/
All 3D work was completed in Cinema 4D and composited in After Effects.

Quick breakdown of design, production and post. There's no audio except for what was output with original motion tests (so watch out if your speakers are on loud half way through), but thought some might find it interesting to see everything thrown into a chunk of video. The blog has more indepth explanation but I figured this would be easier to flick through.
Let me know what you think - I'll try and do more comprehensive ones in future and explain what & why etc.
Cheers Matt

Starz | Main ID (Director's Cut)
Lead Design & Direction : Emrah Gonulkirmaz
Lead Compositing & Direction : Mert Kizilay
Sound Design : ECHOLAB
I've teamed up with yU+co to design & create a visual language for the brand Starz network, which infuses the entire landscape of Starz platforms with their new tagline, "Taking you Places"
Conceptually I've decided to go with Organic and solid, sculptural forms which were fluid in motion. Overall approach was same for the brand package, but the forms and motion constitute the distinction between the main and sub channel / program ids.
Above credits are specific to Director's cut versions, Over all branding package was done with team at yU+co which had expanded in daily bases through out the project time.
It was great working with lots of talented designers & artists with all their great interpretation.
I'll try to release full list of credits if i can get the names together.

Incirrina. Of The Aglare Void
This creature has the complex fate but she finally came unscrewed. She’s raw, synthetic and diffident. She’s afraid that she’s doing worse than she really can in the radiant emptiness full of stars, snowflakes and colored smoke. She doesn’t need anything and wants nothing. Let's leave her alone.
